The Parliamentary Library processes personal data of visitors to its portal site pursuant to Hungary’s Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
It only processes certain data of the visitors to make contacting them possible, and ensure and check on the operation of its service, and prevent any misuse.
The following data are processed: the e-mail address provided by a visitor when contacting us, the time and date of a visit, the addresses of the sites visited, the operating system and browser used, and the IP address of the visitor’s computer.
An outside service provider (Google Analytics) carries out the independent measuring of the number of visits to our portal and data of web analytics. The data controller – http://www.google.com/intl/en_US/analytics/ – can give detailed information on the processing of data measured.
Please note that clicking through subpages of our portal, you can reach websites of other institutions and organizations. As for the privacy policies of those entities, please consult their respective privacy statements.
The Parliamentary Library does not combine visitors’ personal data with data derived from other databases and neither does it pass on personal data to third parties.
